Cherry Blossom Bridel Cake

This cake was made for a friends bridal shower. The bottom layer is a chocolate fudge cake with chunks of chocolate and a chocolate cherry mousse filling. The second layer is lemon cake with fresh lemon juice and homemade lemon curd filling. The top layer is chocolate and vanilla cake swirl with chocolate cherry mousse filling. The cake is covered with butter cream frosting and then light blue fondant. The flowers and birds are made out of fondant as well. The cherry blossom branch is made out of chalk! I found a beautiful chocolate brown and blue ribbon to complete the cake. Mmmm good!
