It has been a busy winter and this is the first time I have had a chance to post something in three months! This cake was made for a wedding shower. The bride-to-be loves daisies and thus the creation of this cake. With spring here early in the northwest it was perfect. This cake has a sour cream dark chocolate cake with ganach filling. The middle was lemon cake with lemon-lime curd, and the top was white cake with blueberry filling. Of course the outer layer is fondant as are the flowers and other decorations.
