Our friend graduated from college and we hosted a party for her. I made this cake with her school colors. The cap is made out of chocolate as well as the black stars. The rest is fondant. It was the first really warm day of the year and I was afraid the chocolate would melt during the outdoor party but it made it. The cake is a white cake with a Bavarian cream filling and a whipped frosting that was then covered with fondant. Very light and tasty.
